Dr. Denise Frazier
Veterinarian, Owner
“After all these years, I still am always learning and improving my ability to help animals. As a practice owner, I can assemble a team that all feel the way I do about our patients and our clients. What better way to spend your life than doing something you love with people who all feel the same way!” — Dr. Frazier
Dr. Denise Frazier founded Northshore Animal Hospital which she established in November 2000. She planned and designed the hospital using 23 years of clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Her children, Matt and Lori, worked alongside her to develop and grow the hospital. Lori loved the business and animals so much that she has stayed to manage the practice.
Dr. Frazier grew up in Norcross, Georgia, and was valedictorian of her high school class. She received her B.S. degree in Microbiology and then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia. She graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honorary societies. She is licensed in Maryland, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, and Tennessee. Her children, Matt and Lori both graduated from Farragut High School. For this family, the Red and Black of Georgia has been replaced with the Orange of Tennessee! Go Vols!
Throughout her career, Dr. Frazier has been active in the veterinary community. Dr. Frazier is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Frazier knew her love of animals and her desire to be a veterinarian would lead her to have her own hospital someday. Northshore Animal Hospital has made that dream come true. She and her family are very grateful for the love and support of the community and all of her patients!
