Dr. Allison Stock
Veterinarian
Dr. Allison Stock joined the Northshore Animal Hospital team in February of 2014. She grew up in Tavares, Florida, a small town north of Orlando. She received her BA in Biology and Chemistry from Maryville College and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Stock has a passion for the well-being of all animals, and she treats each and every patient as if they were her own pet. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, oncology, preventive medicine, and zoo animal medicine.

Dr. Claire Johnson
Veterinarian
Dr. Claire Johnson joined the Northshore Animal Hospital team in June of 2020. She grew up in the Knoxville area and prior to attending veterinary school, worked on the Northshore Animal Hospital team. She earned her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee.
She states:
“I am grateful to have achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. I am always honored by the trust placed in me, not only by my patients but also by the people who love them. I treasure the relationships that are developed with my clients as we work together to ensure that the pets they love receive the best care possible and are always treated with kindness, compassion, and respect.”
Dr. Cassidy Shambeau
Veterinarian
Dr. Cassidy Shambeau joined the Northshore Animal Hospital team in June of 2022. Dr. Shambeau is originally from West Tennessee, growing up in the small town of Adamsville. She studied Animal Science at the University of Tennessee at Martin and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee. She is excited to continue to call Knoxville her home and looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with her clients and patients. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include preventative care, dentistry, and feline medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, George and Charlotte, trying out new restaurants in the area, visiting antique shops, and painting.
Dr. Moreland
Veterinarian
Dr. Moreland grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has always had a love for science and animals. Her academic journey led her to Middle Tennessee State University, where she double-majored in Chemistry and Biology—earning her the affectionate title of “science nerd,” which she proudly embraces. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating as the valedictorian of her class.
In 2021, Dr. Moreland made Knoxville her home and quickly fell in love with the city’s charm, vibrant community, and endless outdoor adventures. Whether she’s birdwatching, kayaking, or hiking with her two rescue pups, she’s always finding new ways to enjoy nature.
Professionally, Dr. Moreland is passionate about cardiology, arthritis management, and avian medicine. She’s especially dedicated to forming strong, lasting relationships with pet owners and their beloved pets.
Dr. Moreland is thrilled to be part of the Northshore Animal Hospital family and looks forward to providing compassionate, personalized care to every pet that walks through the door.

Lori, MBA
Practice Manager
Lori was raised in a veterinary hospital, so caring for animals has been part of her life from the very beginning. With a lifetime of hands-on experience, her knowledge, dedication, and natural connection with animals shine through every day at our clinic.
When it comes to her own furry family, Lori stays busy! She has 2 house dogs, 3 cats, many goats protected by her hardworking Great Pyrenees, and a horse. It’s safe to say animals aren’t just her job — they’re her way of life.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys riding her horse and spending quality time with her family.

Taygen has been working with animals for over 3 years and has a true passion for caring for our furry friends. She loves being able to help pets feel comfortable and well cared for during their visits.
At home, Taygen is a proud pet parent to two kitties who keep her plenty entertained.
When she’s not at the clinic, you can usually find her singing (even at work)or drawing, enjoying her creative side in her free time.

Medical Team
Sydney has been working in veterinary medicine for over 6 years and brings so much knowledge, compassion, and positivity to our clinic every single day. She is incredibly sweet, caring, and always goes the extra mile to make sure our patients (and their humans!) feel comfortable and supported.
When she’s not at the clinic caring for your furry family members, Sydney loves spending her time playing video games and crafting. She’s also our resident baking superstar.
Desiree
Medical Team
With over 15 years of experience working with animals, Desiree brings such incredible knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our team every single day. Her calm, caring nature helps both pets and their people feel comfortable and confident during their visits.
When she’s not at the clinic, Desiree loves spending time outdoors hiking and exploring new restaurants around town with her new husband.
At home, she’s a proud pet mom to her mastiff mix, Rosie, and a kitty, Ember, who are so lucky to have such an experienced and loving mom.
Raven

Raven has been working with animals for nearly six years and brings a deep passion and steady dedication to everything she does. Whether she’s caring for pets or supporting her team, her experience and love for animals really shine through.
Outside of work, Raven is a proud pet parent to two dogs and a tank of fish. In her downtime, you’ll usually find her hanging out with her dogs, spending time with friends, or relaxing with a good book.

Robin
Robin has been grooming at Northshore Animal Hospital since 2005. She takes extra care to make sure that every pet’s grooming experience is stress-free and is always happy to educate clients on how to maintain their pets at home between haircuts. Robin’s experience and talents help to make Northshore Animal Hospital a real full-service clinic.
Robin maintains her skills on a Golden Retriever and 4 cats.
